The inflammatory reaction is one of the mechanisms involved in COVID-19 infection. I promote a simple remedy of ingredients found in most pantries. This remedy is based upon Ayurvedic principles and helps the body fight inflammation caused by various microbes, including viruses such as COVID 19.
· 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar: boosts metabolism and has a moderate anti-inflammatory response.
· 1 Tablespoon Honey: contains antibacterial properties, acting as a wound healer and calming sore throat with reducing inflammation.
· a pinch of Baking Soda: aids with inflammation due to its alkaline pH.
· a pinch of Borax: immune priming effects due to its antimicrobial properties.
· a pinch of Black Pepper: antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
· Add all of the above in half a glass of warm water and drink 2-3 times a day.
